There is a lot of talk about the end of the Ronaldo and Messi era drawing near; especially Ronaldo. But there’s been little discussion about who would take over as the best player in the world after both of those guys pass their primes. According to Xavi Hernandez, it’s not one person but two people and they both play for the same team, PSG.
“When Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo retire, the debate about the best in the world will be between Neymar and Mbappe,” the former Barcelona midfielder said.
Neymar is 26 and Mbappe is only 19, so if those two stay at Paris Saint-Germain (for long), then PSG will easily become the most dominant force in European football in two to three years.
